In a free society, decisions are made by making choices.
Do you want a smoothie or a shake?
Do you want a car or an education?
Do you want to rent or buy?
We all complain about our lot in life. But we have no idea of how, or why we make decisions.
We even complain about the choices we've been given.
Probably our biggest problem is our inability to make decisions. We find something wrong, or something right with whatever choices we have. We try to make our decisions easier by demonizing one, or glorifying the other.
So our lack of freedom, and our lack of government, is OUR fault, not that of some vague candidate trying to tell us what we want to hear.
We actually don't understand the PROCESS of work, or the process of construction, or the process of decisions. Our manufacturing loss wasn't the loss of jobs, but the loss of understanding the process of construction of a business, a product or a nation. We don't know the elements needed to create a foundation, or a structure, or a Congressional bill, or a wall, or our plumbing. We somehow think that some magic words are going to make our lives better.
Magic words actually waste time. The grind of work builds educations, businesses, nations. The foundations of roads builds transportation to our jobs, our schools, our stores, our entertainment. But we never see things this way. And this is OUR fault.
